DONNA GAY WEMPLE IS RECENT BRIDE OF THOMAS McCLELLAND

Miss Donna Gay Wemple, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wemple of Milford, became the bride of Thomas Pierce McClelland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Pierce McClelland of Standish, in a ceremony performed by the Reverand Ralph H. Carleton at the Park Wedding Chapel in Reno on Sunday, July 30.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white chiffon gown and a short circular veil with a fluted head band. She carried a bouquet of white carnations and pink roses.

Miss Kathryn French was the bridesmaid and wore an aqua chiffon gown with a white carnation corsage.

Charles Shere was the best man.

For her daughter's wedding the bride's mother was dressed in pink and wore a white carnation corsage. The groom's mother wore blue and also wore a white carnation corsage.

A dinner hosted by the bride's father followed in the Shore Room of the Holiday Hotel. The table was centered with a tiered wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom and encircled with an arrangement of pink roses, stock, fern and corn flowers.

Dinner guests included the bride and groom, Mrs. Ester McClelland, Mrs. Edna Johnston, Messrs. and Mesdames Claude Wemple, Pierce McClelland, Donald Wemple, Elliot Cann, Messrs. Charles Shere, Kenneth Wemple, Ronald Farwell, Rodney Cann, Misses Nancy McClelland, Helen McClelland, Kathyrn French and Corrine Cann.

For her going away outfit the bride wore a navy blue ensemble with white accessories. Following a honeymoon trip through Oregon, the newlyweds are now at home in Standish.
